The controversial Mt Coot-tha zipline is a step closer to reality with the state government clearing the way for the Brisbane City Council to make a final decision.

The council is driving the project as well as being the consenting authority and submissions on the DA close tomorrow after just three weeks.

Mark is no fan of the project and tells Council Environment, Parks and Sustainability Committee Chair David McLachlan it seems the council has made it a fait accompli.
