The Brisbane City Council recently told a state government committee that electric cars could potentially cause parking problems.

In its submission it said because developers are reluctant to include charging facilities and because of charging times on-street charging could be an issue.

Graeme Manietta from the Australian Electric Vehicle Association tells Mark he believes the technology is developing so quickly issues like that will be overcome.
