Powdered alcohol is marketed as a fantastic new invention, but experts have huge concerns about health risks it could pose to Queenslanders.

The state government listened and has banned the product before it even hit the shelves here.

Michael Thorn from the Foundation for Alcohol Research and Education looked in to powdered alcohol, dubbed “palcohol” by the creators, and tells Mark why we probably don’t need another alcohol product on the market.
