The Gabba has arguably the best cricket pitch in the country but it’s dropping down the order of Australia’s Premier sporting venues.

There are calls for a major investment to renovate and revamp the stadium.

State Public Works and Sports Minister Mick De Brenni tells Ben there’s little point until transport is improved and the surrounding area becomes more of an entertainment precinct.
