Queensland is introducing mandatory registration for all early childhood teachers working in regulated kindergartens and long day care centres. 

Education Minister John-Paul Langbroek explained that bringing these educators under the Queensland College of Teachers’ oversight aims to boost safety standards and elevate the profession.
