Push for Sydney-style train line numbers in South East Queensland ahead of Brisbane Olympics

As Southeast Queensland’s population explodes, SEQTA head Imogen Buckley joined Jason Matthews on 4BC Breakfast to push Translink and the Queensland Government to introduce a Sydney-style train numbering system to simplify travel ahead of the Brisbane Olympics.

While she emphasised that numbers would eliminate tourist confusion and streamline transfers across buses, ferries, and rail, the host noted total silence from state officials while asking listeners if this proposal is an urgent fix or if the government has bigger fish to fry.
