A local mother joined Dean & Sofie on 4BC Breakfast to share the terrifying moment her seven-year-old son was hit by a car on Langton Road, a busy thoroughfare near Earnshaw State College in Banyo. 

The incident has sparked a community campaign to lower the speed limit from 50km/h to 40km/h and formally extend school zones beyond the immediate front gates.
