There are questions over the future of Boggo Road Gaol after tours stopped in 2022 for the construction of a mixed-use development next door.

Former Boggo Road Gaol tour operator Jack Sims says he was proud of the tours and was proud of the insight they provided.

“Many people came along and got to meet people who’d done pretty serious time and [those] who worked there,” he told 4BC Drive.
