‘One bumper of a season’: Outback tourism season set to begin this weekend

Despite tough times, Outback Queensland is gearing up for its best season yet, with the perfect time to visit just around the corner.

Graham Reid from Travel West Outback Tours told Dean Miller on 4BC Drive, “One of the best things is the characters that they will meet when they get into these outback areas.”

“You wander down the street, and you’ll just see our mate and say, g’day. You know, it’s just how it is. It’s fantastic.”

“I mean, a lot of people are hurting at the moment, but they’ll get back on their feet. And I’ll tell you what. It’s going to be one bumper of a season,” Mr Reid continued.
