Brisbane-based Kimaritec wins gold for groundbreaking cancer therapy at Innovators Pitch Challenge

Brisbane-based Kimaritec won gold for ‘Investability’ at the Innovators Pitch Challenge in San Francisco. 

Kimaritec creates small molecules that trigger the cancer cell’s protein recycling system to eliminate essential proteins, leading to the death of the cancer cells.

Co-founder and Research Associate Professor at QUT, Sally-Anne Stephenson, joined Sofie Formica on 4BC Afternoons to discuss Kimaritec’s technology and their gold medal win at the Innovators Pitch Challenge.
