Brisbane’s rapid growth provides an opportunity to revitalise the city

Brisbane has grown faster than any other capital city over the past decade, with more than 400,000 people expected to move to the city by 2046.

The need for urban renewal is high, especially around suburban shopping centres, transport hubs and under-utilised industrial areas.

Councillor Adam Allan, Chair of the Councils’ Suburban Renewal Precincts Program joined Bill McDonald on 4BC Mornings to discuss how the Brisbane City Council is addressing the need.
