Decorated Australian soldier Daniel Keighran has revealed his political aspirations.

Speaking to Peter Fegan on 4BC Mornings, the Victoria Cross recipient reflected on his time in the military and revealed he will one day run for a seat in federal parliament.

“I have been asked over the last 10 years numerous times,” he said.

“Inside scoop .. there is without a doubt in my mind, at some point, I am absolutely going to run for federal politics.”
