Hacker releases private details of 10,000 Optus customers

The hacker behind a huge Optus data breach has released the private information of 10,000 customers.
The Australian Federal Police is investigating claims a hacker demanded a $1.5 million dollars ransom to stop the sale of the stolen data.
A post purportedly by the hacker responsible has threatened to release the details of a further 10,000 records per day until they receive payment.
