Unseasonable rain on the way for parts of QLD

Unseasonable rain is on its way for some parts of Queensland, with the Tropics and Coalfields to cop the biggest falls.
The significant rainfalls will set in towards the end of the week, which is unusual this time of year.
The wet conditions may move towards the south-east towards the weekend.
Brisbane is forecast to receive 30mm next Monday.
Nine News weather reporter Luke Bradnam says Brisbane could see falls between 20-40mm next week.
In the south-east, there will be cloudy, rainy conditions over the weekend.
There will also be some gusty, southerly winds pushing up the coast, bringing some very dangerous beach conditions from the weekend.
He predicts some beach closures from this weekend.
