Rug up, Brisbane: Bitterly cold mornings on the way for SEQ
A severe weather warning is in place for strong winds and south-east Queensland can expect some especially chilly mornings by the end of the week.
The warning stretches from the Wide Bay across the south east and to the border regions west of Stanthorpe.
Nine News weather presenter Garry Youngberry says it’s the wind chill factor will bite.
“It feels like winter has already arrived, but I can assure you this is just a taste of what’s to come over the next few days, we are in for some bitterly cold mornings.”
The temperature in Brisbane is expected to drop to around 8 degrees overnight on Thursday and Friday.
