A 22-year-old man has been charged after he allegedly derailed the Big Pineapple train and crashed it into a fence during a drunken joy ride. 

Nambour officer-in-charge Gary Brayley alleges the man had been in the main pavilion before he started the train and drove along the track at around 2.30pm on Saturday.
