Wild weather warnings eased after record-breaking rainfall

Parts of Queensland remain on flood watch after some areas of the state received triple digit rainfall figures overnight.
Kingaroy recorded 116 millimetres in the 24 hours to 9am, while 157 millimetres were recorded west of Biloela.

Forecaster Ken Kato told Sofie the bulk of the heavier rainfall has now cleared.
“I think we’ve seen the last of the steadier stuff here.”
