There are predictions more building companies will be forced to fold amid mounting pressure on the construction industry in Australia.

Gold Coast-based Condev and Probuild collapsed in recent months.

Today, Surfers Paradise builder Pivotal Homes and Brisbane’s Solido Builders joined the list.

Co-founder of the Association of Professional Builders, Russ Stephens, says the picture is bleak.

“Yes undoubtedly I think there will be more to come,” he told Scott Emerson.
