Where you can expect party leaders to campaign ahead of the election

Spencer Howson

The election campaign is in full swings on both sides of politics with just six weeks until the finish line.

Party leaders are busy hitting the hustings ahead of May 26.

4BC federal politics editor Michael Pachi is travelling with the Prime Minister on the campaign trail.

He told Spencer Howson cities won’t be a focus for either Scott Morrison or would-be prime minister Anthony Albanese.

“The bottom line is this: when it comes to Scott Morrison, he’s going to be doing a lot of regional areas, … which are currently held by Labor.

“Essentially, Anthony Albanese’s probably going to do the same thing.

“I can almost guarantee people like Scott Morrison are not going to be campaigning in a lot of city seats where there is a lot of movement against the Prime Minister.”
