When you can see ‘the green comet’ from Brisbane

Dean & Sofie

A green comet is causing a stir among star gazers as they prepare to catch a glimpse.

C/2022 E3 (ZTF) was discovered by astronomers last March and has gained attention for its green glow.

The icy, celestial object was last visible during the Stone Age.

Astrophysicist Brad Tucker told Laurel, Gary & Mark we’ll have to wait a few more days to see it in Brisbane.

“If you’re in Far North Queensland, you can see it tonight,” he said. “But in Brisbane, you won’t see it until the 4th.”

Press PLAY below to hear the date Dr Tucker says will provide best viewing + why the comet is green
