When children can receive COVID-19 vaccines

The green light has been given for more than two million children to receive COVID-19 vaccines from next month.
Children aged five to 11 will be able to receive the vaccine from January 10.
Australia’s expert immunisation panel has given its final approval for a smaller dose of the Pfizer formula for the age group.
Bookings will open within weeks.
Healthcare providers will be required to undergo specific training and doses must be batch tested before rollout begins.
