Western Australia’s hard border is coming down

NINE NEWS AUSTRALIA

Western Australia will re-open its border to the rest of the country on March 3.

Premier Mark McGowan announced the news on Friday.

Arrivals will be required to have received three doses of a COVID-19 vaccine.

They will also need to provide a negative rapid antigen test on arrival.

But there will be no quarantine requirement.

The state is ramping up COVID-19 restrictions within the state, such as indoor mask mandates and density limits, but the hard border will come down.
