As the polls close across the majority of the country, early projections point to a win for the ‘No’ camp in the Voice Referendum.

The Australian Electoral Commission (AEC) had reported the largest ever voter enrolment for this referendum, with over 17.6 million Australians registered. From in-person voting at over 7,000 booths to postal votes and overseas polling, Australians worldwide had their say.

With counting now taking place in the majority of states, the nation, and indeed the world, awaits the final verdict.
