Victorian hospitalised after allegedly trying to escape quarantine

A man has been hospitalised after he allegedly tried to escape from hotel quarantine in Cairns, by scaling the building.
The 29-year-old from Victoria arrived in Queensland this morning and was immediately placed into quarantine.
His escape plan went wrong, when he fell, injuring his leg.
Police say investigations are continuing.
