Dayne Zorko is standing aside as captain of the Brisbane Lions.

He told Peter Psaltis on Wide World of Sports he’s had a blast, and a huge challenge to lead a club that was struggling when he began his captaincy.

“To help lead the charge in that department is something I am extremely proud of,” he said.

“But I guess now it’s time for someone else to take over.”

As for who could take over, he said there are a few candidates.
