An Australian icon is getting in early to mark a big milestone next year. 

2023 marks 100 years since Vegemite was first put on the market and parent company, Bega, wants a letter from the Queen to celebrate.

Hoping to get Her Majesty’s attention, Bega has produced some cheeky billboards to be driven around London landmarks.

If successful, Bega’s general manager Adam McNamara believes Vegemite would be the only Australian brand to have received such an honour.
