Two children, woman taken to hospital after being struck by car

Brisbane Live

A woman and two young children have been taken to hospital after they were hit by a car outside the Bribie Island shopping centre.

Emergency services were called to the scene at Goodwin Drive on Bongaree around 12pm.

A baby boy believed to be around six-months-old has been rushed to hospital in a serious condition.

A four-year-old girl has also been taken to the Queensland Children’s Hospital in a serious condition, while a woman in her 30s is also in a serious condition in hospital.

The driver, a 95-year-old man, has been hospitalised as a precaution.

Nine News reporter Lily Greer said members of the public were first on scene.
