Train timetables slashed as commuters turn to working from home

Public transport timetables are set to be slashed later this month as a result of the Omicron wave.
Trains will run on a weekend-style timetable after patronage slumped to 40 per cent and COVID swept through Queensland Rail staff.
Buses and CityCat services will also be cut, likely in early February.
