The body of a woman, believed to be missing teenager Tea Wright-Finger has been found by police in remote bushland after a months-long search.

The 19-year-old was last seen in Richmond after a friend dropped her off at a blue Toyota Prado around 3pm on October 16.

Police today located the body around 600 metres from the four-wheel-drive, which was discovered by a mustering helicopter on Wednesday.

A report will be prepared for the coroner but early investigations have suggested the death was not suspicious.
