Tragedy as death toll rises from jumping castle accident in Devonport

Four children have died after a jumping castle accident at a primary school in Devonport.
Tasmanian Police Commissioner Darren Hine confirmed the death toll had risen to four, including two boys, and two girls, all in Grade 6.
The children fell up to 10 metres when the jumping castle was lifted in to the air after a strong gust of wind during end of year celebrations.
Another 4 children are in a critical condition, one is in a serious condition.
Tasmania Police Commander Debbie Williams says it was a very tragic event.
“There is no doubt this has been a very confronting and distressing scene.”
