With Christmas less than a week away, many of us are thinking about what to serve our friends and family.

Ham, turkey and prawns are traditional additions to the Aussie table.

But what does a vegan eat at Christmas time?

Yesterday, John Stanley discovered there are plenty of options available for the festive season that are animal-product free.

Including something called ‘tofurky’…

Today, the team from Botany Group brought in some vegan dishes for John to try, including ‘sheese’, ‘tofurky’ hotdogs and meat-free sliders.

 

But how do they match up to the real deal?

“The ultimate test is in these hotdogs,” says John.
