Drivers are being warned to expect long delays following a tragic fatal crash on the Gold Coast.

Three people have been killed after

It’s believed a car veered onto the wrong side of a road in Arundel around 12pm, colliding with a truck.

Two passengers were killed and another person was rushed to hospital before sadly they passed away at the Gold Coast Hospital.

Police are investigating a number of factors into the fatal crash.

Five others suffered minor injuries.

Police have warned Brisbane Road will be closed for some time while the Forensic Crash Unit investigates.
