Former NSW Captain Paul Gallen believes Queensland is scared of the Blues and forward Spencer Leniu after the Maroons were completed outclassed in the State of Origin opener on Wednesday at Suncorp Stadium.

“The Queenslanders kicked away from him which was a bit of a message in itself, they were scared, it was silly,” Gallen said.

“They kicked away from him cause they didn’t want to tackle him.”
