There is new legislation in Queensland

Carla Bignasca

Queensland’s State Parliament has introduced a new legislation which aligns with other states.

The new legislation will allow accused rapists to be named publicly prior to standing trial.

The bill will make amendments to more than 30 other pieces of legislation, in particular, will strengthen recognition of the loss of an unborn child as a result of criminal conduct.
