An invasion of Ukraine could be just the first step in a greater political strategy by Russia.

Moscow has gathered more than 100,000 soldiers at the border as Western nations continue their diplomatic efforts.

Professor in Ukrainian Studies Marko Pavlyshyn worries Russian President Vladimir Putin wants more.

“I think Ukraine is simply a key part, the first part in a greater general strategy,” he told Neil Breen.

“He would like to reverse the expansion of NATO into the Baltic states.

“He has made statements that Ukraine is not the only domino he is concerned to topple.”
