Queenslanders have been warned to prepare for months of wild weather, starting earlier than usual.

Premier Annastacia Palaszczuk has warned the traditional cyclone season could form as early as November, driven by a triple La Niña weather pattern.

Queensland Reconstruction Authority CEO Jimmy Scott told Laurel, Gary & Mark now is the time to prepare for potential flooding.
