The story behind this photo of Issac Luke

Issac Luke has reflected on his career saying “time was precious” and he wants to focus on his family now.
Back in 2014, Wide World of Sports host Peter Psaltis snapped this back of Luke at the NRL grand final, when he was with South Sydney.
“Right then I can remember like it was yesterday, our team, what the crowd looked like,” Luke told Psalty on Thursday night’s show.
I was sitting on the sideline for the @ContinuousCall in the 2014 GF. I took this photo of @issacluke_14 nearing full time. A proud Rabbitoh, I felt for you that night Isaac, but you were every part of that premiership success. Well done on a great career & enjoy Sunday night. pic.twitter.com/hewV4TQZVi

Luke said he wanted to “hang up the boots last year”.
“I think half way through the year … NRL had their bubble, I just thought, oh look there’s more to life than putting my body through this, my body hasn’t been doing really well, reacting to the games as in having to back up training.”
He said “time was precious” and he said it was his time to focus on his family.
