Australian Baseball League club the Pert Heat will pay its players and staff in Bitcoin. 

The Heat will allow salaries to be accepted in Bitcoin, or a combination of the cryptocurrency and traditional payments.

Peter Psaltis told Neil Breen the club is claiming the move is a “world first”.

Peter Psaltis: “There’s probably a reason why no other team has done it…”

Neil Breen: “They may as well just give them a bottle of air!”
