The ‘sensational’ food mashup even sceptics are recommending to friends

A new pie on the market is answering the age-old conundrum of choosing between your favourite foods. 

Banjo’s Bakery Café  has released its latest culinary hybrid, combining spaghetti bolognese with the humble meat pie.

It follows in the footsteps of other pie mashups like Banjo’s lasagne, chicken parmigiana and double cheeseburger pies.

Banjo’s franchisee Taimoor Ashraf told Sofie Formica it’s winning more customers over than you’d think.

“I’ve had three myself! It is sensational.

“Some customers have got big smiles on their faces, there’s so much shock.

“Straight away they’re like, ‘Oh, we’ve got to try this’, … and they’re recommending it to their mates.”
