The composer behind the now infamous Bluey theme song says he knew the animated TV series was something special from the first show.

Joff Bush revealed he almost didn’t take on the job, but after meeting the show’s creator and watching a few episodes, he said he knew the show was something special, and a beautiful creation.

He told Sofie Formica every piece of music in the now global hit show is thoughtfully curated.

Sofie said the theme is one of the most identifiable pieces of television theming in the world.

“It’s pretty overwhelming when you put it that way, it’s exciting!” he said.
