Article image for The last man standing: Lonnie Lee dives into his stellar career

Lonnie Lee is a pioneer of rockabilly music in Australia, and has been in the entertainment industry for decades.

Ahead of his 83rd birthday, Lonnie joined John Stanley on Nights to share how he’ll be celebrating – by performing a live concert, titled Just Me and My Music.

Lonnie tells the story of his big break on 2UW’s Amateur Hour, some of his major success in showbiz, and even dives into his love of computer programming.

After his performance, Lonnie will be heading on his annual Victoria tour in October and releasing his first Christmas album.
