The Grattan Institute’s budget suggestions

The Grattan Institute has released its Commonwealth Orange Book, looking at policies they believe will benefit Australia.

The report outlines suggestions for the next government to strengthen the budget.

Grattan Institute CEO John Daley tells Ross Greenwood there’s a risk there may not be enough funds to deliver the proposed policies.

“The Coalition, in particular, have nominated a series of very substantial tax cuts, five to ten years out.

“If you’re gonna lock yourselves into those then you would want to be very sure that the future was gonna turn out as you expected.”

He also discusses what could happen if superannuation increases.
