Zac Fulton has carried on his grandfather’s legacy after making his debut last night against the Roosters.

The Manly Sea Eagles were down seven players after controversy over the decision to wear pride jerseys.

Fulton, the grandson of legendary league Immortal Bob Fulton, was called up to the first-grade side and played the final 28 minutes of the Sea Eagles’ 20-10 loss at Brookvale.

Zac impressed fans with bone-crunching tackles and a quick tussle with Roosters star forward Jared Waerea-Hargreaves.

The 20-year-old Manly debutant registered seven hit-ups, ran 45 metres and ticketed 13 tackles in an action-packed cameo performance.

Ray Hadley was at the game and was accompanied by the Fulton family.

“He made an immediate impact,” Ray said.

“He [Bob Fulton] would have been so thrilled to see what he did.

“I would be surprised if he’s not in the first-grade squad next week.”

Zac was captured on camera embracing his grandmother Anne after his stellar debut performance.
