Laurel Edwards has shared her family’s heartbreak after unexpectedly losing her mother-in-law overnight.

Troy Cassar-Daley’s mum, Irene, was found by her neighbour after having passed away in her sleep.

Speaking through tears, Laurel said Irene was a very strong, loving woman.

“[She] was always very loving to the family around her,” she said.

“Her wish, her happiness and everything, revolved around being able to stay on the property by herself. That was always her dream.”
