Tennis great Ash Barty among those recognised with Queen’s Birthday Honours

People from all walks of life are being recognised in this year’s Queen’s Birthday Honours.
Almost 1000 Australians are being honoured for their commitment to service, excellence and selflessness.
Tennis great Ash Barty has been appointed an Officer of the Order of Australia, for her distinguished service to tennis and to youth development programs.
92 Australians have also been recognised for their work during the pandemic, among them, Governor of Queensland Jeannette Young.
