A teenager has been issued a warning by NSW Police after allegedly racially abusing NRL star Latrell Mitchell.

The South Sydney fullback claims the boy used a racial slur during last week’s Rabbitohs-Penrith game, as players were leaving the field during half-time.

The 14-year-old was issued a warning under the Young Offenders Act, according to Wide World of Sports.

Police say the investigation has been finalised.
