Border breach: Sydney trio fined after attending NRL grand final
Three men have been fined and returned back to NSW after allegedly crossing the border on Saturday to attend the NRL grand final.
Police allege the trio travelled from Sydney on the M1 into the Gold Coast shortly after 2.30pm on Saturday October 2.
It’s alleged they held incorrect border passes.
The men, aged 23, 24 and 25, attended the NRL grand final at Suncorp Stadium on Sunday,
They’ve each been fined $4135 for breaching the Chief Health Officer Directions and have since left Queensland.
