Fiona O’Loughlin has been crowned Queen of the Jungle, winning reality TV show I’m A Celebrity Get Me Out of Here.

The stand-up comedian lasted more than six weeks in the African jungle, eventually beating out singer Shannon Noll and boxer Danny Green for the top prize.

Fiona tells Steve her prior stints in rehab helped her go without modern luxuries.

“They were different deprivations but it’s still not having all your freedoms.”

The victory earns $100,000 for Fiona’s charity Angel Flight, but also gives her a much-needed financial boost.

“It means the world to me Steve. I’ve always had an unhealthy fear of wealth.

“It’s not like I need a lot but I know that it was worrying for my kids, whether their mother would have enough to have a little place to live that’s nice.”

As for her first meal on the outside; “When I got out I had ricotta ravioli. Stodge! You’ve got to be careful though that you don’t go too hard.”
