The ‘Crocodile Hunter Lodge’ at Australia Zoo has officially opened in honour of legendary wildlife warrior Steve Irwin.

Steve’s son, Robert, said the luxury accommodation has been in the works for some time.

“It was always a dream of my dads to stay here it Australia Zoo, and now finally we’ve been able to do it justice,” he told Sofie Formica on 4BC Afternoons.

“It’s something that I know he would be incredibly proud of.”
