Memberships are growing in a Facebook group that keeps track of COVID-19 exposure sites in south-east Queensland.

Queensland Health is no longer listing individual venues where people infected with coronavirus have visited.

Instead, the department says it’s focusing on major outbreaks or super-spreader events.

‘South East Queensland Covid Exposure Sites’ has amassed more than 195,000 members so far.

The group’s founder, Danica Clayton told Neil Breen members have spotted trends the government hasn’t announced.

“[We’re] just wanting them to co-ordinate in with us,” she said. “We’ve identified trends which identify super-spreader events.”

“There’s nothing actually being reported.”
